Is Tackl really free for homeowners?+

Yes. Posting a project is free, there is no account required upfront, and you never pay Tackl to receive quotes. Pros pay us only when they win the job.

How fast will I hear back from a pro?+

Most projects are matched within minutes during business hours. We cap matches at 3 pros per lead so you get serious quotes instead of a flood of cold calls.

What areas do you cover?+

Tackl is built for the Lower Mainland of BC: Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, the North Shore, the Tri-Cities, New Westminster, Delta, Langley, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and White Rock.

Are the pros verified?+

Every pro we match is reviewed for business licensing, insurance where applicable to the trade, and a working reputation in the region. We list trade and city alongside each pro.

How does Tackl work for pros?+

Free to list, free leads. You pay only when you win the job, and refunds for bad leads are returned in cash, not platform credits. We never send the same lead to more than 3 pros.

What is the catch?+

There is no catch. Tackl is a local marketplace, not a North American lead reseller. We make money the same time our pros do: when real work gets booked.

Can I edit or cancel a project after posting?+

Yes. Reply to your match email or contact support and we will update or close the request right away.

Do you handle emergencies?+

We route urgent jobs (active leaks, electrical hazards, lockouts) to pros flagged as emergency-ready in your city. Mark the project as urgent when you post.
